We will be holding a public forum for the upcoming Board of County Commissioners elections.
This will be live broadcast on KFFR and archived on kffr.org for future reference. The forum takes place Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at the KFFR studio located at 511 Zerex St, Suite 201 in Fraser. Registration is required to attend in person as space is limited.
Shanna Ganne, Merrit Linke, Meara McQuain and Ed Raegner will all have the opportunity to make opening and closing statements, and they will answer questions submitted by local organizations and stakeholders.
Rules/Format
Each candidate will have 2 minutes for an opening statement and 2 minutes for a closing statement. The candidates will have 4 minutes to answer each community question during the forum. There will not be an opportunity for rebuttal or commentary after the given time has expired. There will also be 20 minutes allowed for a rapid round of reader/listener submitted questions, and there will be two minutes for each candidate to respond to these questions. Candidates will only have 2 minutes to answer these questions. The ordering of answers by candidates will rotate with each question.
