Grand County’s Community Radio Expands Reach

Bringing Local Radio to More Corners of Grand County

Fraser Valley Community Media (FVCM) is growing! With the launch of KWTR 89.1FM and the relocation of KFFR’s 88.3FM antenna to Granby Ranch, we’re expanding our radio coverage connecting more people through music, local news, and community voices. The area will include Granby, Grand Lake, and Hot Sulphur Springs—Kremmling will be connected soon once we are able to boost our signal over more mountain tops, so stay tuned!

Two Stations, One Purpose

  • KFFR 88.3FM – Your home for music, live interviews with muscians, and cultural programming featuring over 50 local DJ volunteers..

  • KWTR 89.1FM – Our new station dedicated to public affairs, education, and regional issues like the Colorado River, youth sports, and municipal updates. You will still hear some tunes between programming.

Together, these stations provide Grand County with a powerful, people-driven media resource.

The Audience Is Listening

Over 25,000 listeners streamed KFFR online last year. With expanded coverage, we expect that number to grow even more as our signal reaches new communities and second homeowners.

Listeners tell us they’re more likely to support businesses that support KFFR. Sponsorship means trust, visibility, and local connection—reinforced by DJs who organically promote partners they believe in.
