Winter Carnival – It was a full day of Winter pageantry and spectacle in Beautiful Grand Lake, Colorado at the winter carnival on Saturday March 4, presented by Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge and the Town of Grand Lake. Thank you to the people of Grand Lake for making it such a memorable event.
KFFR will go back to Grand Lake for the Troublesome Festival in September. There is even some talk that we will be there during the summer dragon boat races. Thank you to the Town of Grand Lake for supporting these events and KFFR.

Fraser Valley Community Media (FVCM) sought $4,000 in funding to increase KFFR 88.3FM’s service capacity in Grand Lake while supporting the creative arts during the off-season months of September-May and driving traffic to the town.
- KFFR will produced two live remote broadcasts from Grand Lake that featured the Winter Carnival and the Troublesome Festival
- KFFR highlighted the arts and culture in Grand Lake through promotions that encouraged visitors to the area.
The partnership between the Town of Grand Lake and KFFR will 1) promote a year-round economy in Grand Lake, 2) increased exposure to the arts community in Grand Lake, and 3) ensureed KFFR broadcast and online listeners stay connected to Grand Lake throughout the year.
