Robyn Wilson

Robyn Wilson first made Fraser her home in 1998 after leaving Wisconsin to pursue the career of ski bum/raft guide, and subsequently meeting her husband, Ryan.  Many adventures followed including Peace Corps in El Salvador, graduate school in Flagstaff in education and sustainable communities, being the executive director of an educational non-profit in Telluride, and Director of Advising for Colorado Northwestern Community College.

Seventeen years later, Robyn and Ryan returned to Fraser to own and manage the historic cabin community of Grandma Miller’s New Horizons.  Local radio, music, business and art is center to their philosophy and being a member of the board of KFFR is a great honor.  While not working on bookkeeping, grants or community outreach, you can find Robyn rafting, hiking, skiing, or working on the property of Grandma’s.  Robyn teaches permaculture for Colorado Mesa University and is deeply committed to sustainable community development and the incredible wonders of the natural world.
