The final Sound of Grand County (SOGC) showcase of 2026 brought an incredible new wave of local talent straight into KFFR Studios. Following the momentum of our previous showcases, this live session wrapped up the year’s series in style with a fantastic mix of genres, all powered by our talented Grand County neighbors. Both acts did a phenomenal job on the KFFR stage, and we are thrilled to share that the complete archives are officially ready for your ears!

JazzMatazz
Local graduate and jazz virtuoso Adrien Brower and his band kicked off the night in spectacular fashion. Delivering smooth, sophisticated sounds, this ensemble gave the studio audience a masterclass in musical storytelling. Whether you are a longtime jazz aficionado or were just looking for a classy soundtrack to elevate your evening, JazzMatazz perfectly captured the cool, laid-back side of Grand County.

Taking things to the high-voltage side of the spectrum, our headliner Animal Electricity completely lit up the room. This local indie-rock outfit is renowned for revving up the energy with their unique, driving sound and catchy, original hooks. Bringing a raw and vibrant edge to the SOGC stage, they perfectly represented the pulse of the Colorado music scene, keeping the studio buzzing from the very first chord to the final encore.
