KFFR is volunteer powered community radio. There are many ways to volunteer, but most of our volunteers choose to be a DJ on the station. The process to become a DJ begins with completing this form, and scheduling a time to train on the equipment. Following training a new DJ is expected to:

1. Shadow at least two other DJ slots for a minimum of 1 hour. 
2. Be a substitute for at least two different shows during business hours.
3. Commit to a time slot between 1-2 hours a month.
4. Commit to being a member of the station at $60/year. 

DJs can produce a show once a month, once a week, or once every two weeks, depending on schedule.
