May 5–9, 2025
Live on KFFR 88.3 FM, KWTR 89.1 FM, and Panther Radio
KFFR’s annual Youth Week is back—and it’s bigger, bolder, and more inspiring than ever. From May 5–9, 2025, we’re turning the mics over to the young voices of Grand County, giving students from both East Grand and West GrandSchool Districts a platform to share their ideas, music, creativity, and community spirit.
Youth Week is about more than just radio. It’s about helping students build confidence, learn new skills, and hear themselves as leaders in their communities. It’s also about showcasing the incredible talent and diversity of our young people—whether it’s singing with a school choir, sharing a story about a rafting trip, or performing live saxophone on-air.
With participation from every corner of Grand County, KFFR is proud to represent both East and West Grand districts in this week-long celebration of youth-driven programming.

Why Youth Week Matters
At KFFR, we believe that community radio should reflect all corners of our community—including our youngest members. Youth Week is about empowerment, education, and expression. By putting kids and teens on the air, we’re not only giving them a voice—we’re encouraging them to shape the future of media, music, and local storytelling.
We’re honored to host students from both West Grand and East Grand School Districts, and grateful for the teachers, mentors, and families supporting their participation.
Tune in all week to support the next generation of radio—and maybe discover your new favorite DJ along the way.
