Stacy Stein and Steve Skinner interview Dr. Nicole Ehrhart, Colorado State University’s director of the Columbine Health Systems Center for Healthy Aging. She discusses a recent survey her organization spearheaded testing workers at five long-term care facilities. They found a surprising number of asymptomatic cases. Their study is being ramped up to include more facilities throughout the state.

Dr. Ehrhart is the first woman at Colorado State University to receive a University Endowed Chair, is a veterinarian, board-certified surgical oncologist and professor of surgical oncology in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She was awarded the Ross M. Wilkins, M.D. Limb Preservation Chair in Musculoskeletal Biology and Oncology in 2015.
