Stacy Stein and Steve Skinner interview Dr. Nicole Ehrhart, Colorado State University’s director of the Columbine Health Systems Center for Healthy Aging. She discusses a recent survey her organization spearheaded testing workers at five long-term care facilities. They found a surprising number of asymptomatic cases. Their study is being ramped up to include more facilities throughout the state.
Dr. Ehrhart is the first woman at Colorado State University to receive a University Endowed Chair, is a veterinarian, board-certified surgical oncologist and professor of surgical oncology in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
