Panasewicz and Usseglio join board. Goodman moves to President. Jason Trow and DJ Jen G retire.

Lauren Panasewicz (L.P.) and Nanda Usseeglio have joined the KFFR Board of Directors. KFFR volunteer and board member Joanna Goodman will lead the board as president, taking over from founder Denis Moynihan, who will remain on the KFFR Board.

L.P. has dedicated her career to making a meaningful impact in the non-profit sector. She is now the Director of Development for an international non-profit called the Range of Motion Project (ROMP) where she spearheads high-level fundraising, strategy, partnerships, events, and communications, contributing to the growth of ROMP into a million-dollar organization.

L.P. is passionate about music and community radio. She believes that genuine human connection is one of the few real things left in this world and music is a powerful catalyst for connecting people and creating community.

“I understand that an organization’s resiliency relies upon the strength of its community, the quality of stakeholder relationships, and the ability to forge impactful partnerships. KFFR has done an amazing job so far and I’m excited to be part of this growing community.”

Joining L.P. on the board is local business owner, Nanda Usseglio. Her goal is to strengthen the bonds between different cultures in the community and to perpetuate the acceptance that she has received after moving to Grand County from Peru 15 years ago.

She met her business partner, Fernan, while working at Winter Park Sushi Bar, and together, they opened Pepe Osaka’s Fishtaco. Between Fernan’s mastery of flavor and Nanda’s passion for service, Pepe’s has has become a staple in the county. She and Fernan, opened One Love Rum Kitchen in Grand Lake with their business partner, Baxter.

Goodman, a resident of Grand County since 2007 will bring her passion for music and community to the radio station.

“I am working with staff and community leaders to help create the needed connections and relationships to get the KFFR FM signal to reach all parts of Grand County. I am always working behind the scenes to find more sources of funding to keep our operation growing.”

KFFR thanks outgoing volunteer board members Jason Trow and Jen Gold for serving on the board and setting the radio station on a path to success.
