Vote for KFFR

Written by on August 7, 2023

It’s that time of year to show your love for KFFR 88.3FM.  It’s been an epic year for your local community radio station. With 26 new Evergreen Members, KFFR has more than 400 individuals in Grand County and beyond supporting the radio station.  70 businesses, non-profits and municipalities have seen KFFR as a place to get their messaging out to the public, and KFFR continues to remote broadcast throughout the county.  This year, we broadcast the Rocky Mountain Music Series, The Winter Carnival in Grand Lake, and KFFR also held its first Birthday Bash party celebrating 7 years in the Grand County community.

KFFR also supported local youth and musicians in 2023.  Every Sunday, children can tune into the station to hear MabelMae’s Storytime as she reads a new book every two weeks.  In March, the Fraser Valley Elementary 4th graders presented their projects on local historical figures, and students at Middle Park High School hosted a panel discussing youth issues today.

KFFR strives to be a community hub for Grand County, empowering people through broadcasting while supporting the local economy and the arts by partnering with local businesses, nonprofits and municipalities.  We think we’re doing pretty good at achieving our vision, if you agree, go vote for KFFR as one of the Best of Grand!
