BIO:

Credit World’s Toughest Row

My name is Jayme Linker, a Colorado native, and I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for nearly 24 years.

What nearly killed me, has now become the reason I live and work so hard to be an example for others and help those who struggle so they don’t have to live like I have.
When I was 19, I was hospitalized for the 3rd time nearly dying and I knew then I had to find a way to hold myself accountable and remain healthy as i discovered my life goal was to help others however that path hasn’t been easy nor clear.
I have always been athletic and loved pushing my limits so I started racing. I have done survival races for 15 years roughly and when I got approached in 2017 to participate in the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, I couldn’t refuse.
In 2020, I finally got in a team and we signed up for the TWAC 2021 race across the Atlantic. This race I did to raise money for those with eating disorders and to push myself in a different way to gain more knowledge to help others. Not only did I conquer the Atlantic however within 4 months after finishing the TWAC, I signed up to row the Pacific 2023.
In July 2023, I became the 1st US female to row both the Atlantic and Mid-Pacific Oceans unassisted.
While planning to row the Pacific, I knew I needed more and started planning my next row. I reached out to a fellow ocean rower and friend and we teamed up to build a team where this year, 2024, we will be the 1st team ever to embark on a circumnavigation attempt of all 3 oceans back-to-back-to-back starting with the Atlantic Ocean, followed by the Pacific, and ending with the Indian Ocean. This feat will be roughly 14000 miles across the most vast parts of this planet.
We will be rowing for several causes: Eating Disorder Awareness (Bear Moose Hideaway), K9 for Warriors, and Children’s Tumor Foundation.I have struggled with an eating disorder for over 2/3 of my life so being able to do what I do is unlike any other as I have to face my challenges every day in order to help others.

This endeavor we are estimating taking roughly 250 days on the water and for us to make the impossible possible, we need help not only getting the word out about this undertaking and gaining recognition for our causes however we need help raising money to make this happen and make a difference for our causes.

As this has never been done before, we are on a world stage, and are trying hard to make an impact for our charities. Please let us know if you want to help make history with us and help sponsor our amazing journey to help others.
